RIMMEL STAY BLUSHED! LIQUID CHEEK TINT REVIEW

Hello hello hello! ^-^

You guys must be aware of the fact that Rimmel London is a well-known brand and I am a big fan of their Scandal eyes mascara. I got this cheek tint as a gift from my sister and I think it’s exactly what I was looking for. I own this product in a very cute shade, the name of the shade is 'pop of pink' which is a very light/natural pink color.

What it claims:
Lightweight liquid blush blends instantly and seamlessly. Apply a small amount with your fingertips for a natural flush of color that lasts all day.

My opinion:
It is a lightweight mixture of liquid and cream. Yes, I can blend it perfectly with the help of my fingers and it gives a beautiful light pink blush. I prefer cream blushers over the powder ones so this one is definitely a winner for me. However, I’m disappointed with its lasting power. I have combination/oily skin and this particular cheek tint stays for approximately 2 hours on my face and it fades after that which is why I’m a bit disappointed. All in all, if you're looking for a natural looking blush so I would recommend you to go for this one. Apart from that, I have to admit that the smell of this cheek tint is so yummy.

Application:
I would prefer you to apply a very small amount on the apples of your cheeks. Blend well with the help of your fingers and keep it natural or else you’ll end up looking like a clown.

Would I repurchase?
To be very honest, yes I will purchase a couple of more shades from Rimmel’s liquid cheek tint range.

You guys can purchase it from Zamzam superstore (Malir Cantt) for PKR 625.

ETUDE LIPSTICKS

Hello everyone!

I'm back! I hope you guys are doing well. Firstly, I'd like to apologize for being inactive; I was busy with my exams so I couldn't update my blog. Well, no worries since I'm back and I have a brand new post for all of you. Winter season is almost here and I wanted to update my makeup stash so I went to Naheed Supermarket to look for a couple of new lipsticks. Etude's stall caught my eye. Let me get straight to the point; I found so many amazing shades with an affordable price tag. I got 2 lipsticks for PKR 700. I guess each one was of PKR 350. (I’m not sure about the prices since I don't have the bill with me)

I’ve stopped using the light shades and I prefer dark ones now so I chose these 2. The first one is maroon-ish red while the other one is orange with a bit of brown tone. I absolutely adore these colors and both of these are a part of my daily makeup routine.
Let’s talk about the pigmentation; I think these lipsticks are really pigmented and pretty good. They leave a stain on my lips even when they’re fully gone – in my option that’s the best thing about these lipsticks.  I don’t really like to re-do my makeup when I’m in university so yeah that’s definitely a plus point that I don’t have to reapply again and again. Etude is a well-known Korean brand and I feel like trying more products now. I’d recommend you to check more products from Etude and their lipsticks are a must-have so make sure you have at least one of them in your makeup collection.

Well, that’s all for now. Thank you so much for reading and stay tuned for more updates.

Essence GEL-EYELINER

I just love to try different eyeliners from different makeup brands so I thought it’d be nice to try something new like Essence. I’ve never used a gel-eyeliner before so I was very excited when I purchased this one. This eyeliner is in black color (midnight in Paris 01) and to be very honest, I don’t like it at all. I bought it a couple of months ago so that I can give it a try but it failed to impress me although the packaging is very nice, it comes in a small container and looks pretty decent as you see in the pictures above. I genuinely felt like the quality of this eyeliner is pretty cheap since it ended up making my eyes red and watery. It might work for you but it didn’t work for me like this is my personal opinion. However, this eyeliner stays for hours and it doesn’t go off that easily which is a plus point. My eyes are quite sensitive so I won’t go for Essence again however I really want to try some of their nail paints and nail art products ^_^
